Home / SEAI grant documents

Free · one page

Every document an SEAI claim needs, and whose desk it is on.

A heat pump or solar claim stalls on paperwork, not on the installation: the Declaration of Works needs three signatures, the BER certificate comes from someone else, and SEAI pays nothing until every item is uploaded. This is the full set, in the order it matters, with the party responsible for each.

The deadline that catches people

You have eight months from the grant offer to have the works done, the post-works BER published and the signed paperwork back with SEAI. Payment then takes 4–6 weeks — longer if the home is inspected.

Miss the window and the claim is lost, not delayed.

Why we built this

Because three people have to sign one form

The installer is the only party who sees the whole claim, and the only one chasing a homeowner for a signature and an assessor for a certificate at the same time — usually while on a roof somewhere else.

Grant Pack tracks one job at a time: what is required, whose it is, what is still missing, and what the pack looks like when it is complete. It produces a pack sheet with the document index and the signature block, and it says on its face that it is a record, not a submission.

How it is sold

Installed on your own server

Install

€2,900 once. One container, one volume, your data on your machine or your IT provider's. No per-job fee, no commission.

Care

€780 a year. Checklist updates when SEAI changes a form, verified backups, patches, two support hours a month.

There is no licence key and no lock-out: if you stop paying, the tool keeps working and the data is still yours.

Questions

What installers ask

Is this a replacement for my own records?

No. It is the checklist and the pack sheet; your contracts, invoices and safety file remain yours.

Does it submit to SEAI?

No. It collects and indexes evidence. The claim is still made by the homeowner or the contractor through SEAI's own system.

What if SEAI changes a form?

The checklist is data, not code: it is updated and pushed to installations as part of care. That is the main reason to pay for care rather than host a copy.

How long does it take to set up?

An afternoon, including a test job from your last completed claim.
